Future Engineers Competed in Jaguar Primary School Challenge

The second Slovak National Finals of the Jaguar Primary School Challenge took place in the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Nitra in June 2019. Students aged 7 to 11 from 28 schools from all around Slovakia participated in the year-round educational project developing their engineering, science, technology, math, communication, presentation and teamwork skills. Schools had an opportunity to cooperate with a Jaguar Land Rover engineer throughout the year. Up to 100 best students took place in the finals. They showcased their work to the professional judges, who are JLR engineers and business volunteers from the areas of technology, business, marketing, HR, etc. Student teams competed in various categories, including the fastest car, best engineered car, best verbal presentation and best portfolio. The students showed their motivation and enthusiasm in a learning-by-doing atmosphere.
